Sample Evaluation Questions

1. In what watershed is the school located? What sub basin? What river basin?
2. Does stormwater run-on affect the school grounds?
3. Where does the rain fall on the land?
4. Which way does the stormwater flow?
5. Does it stream, pool, or puddle anywhere on the property?
6. Which areas are inundated by stormwater runoff?
7. Are there flooding problems? Where? Why?
8. What stream, creek, river, or lake does the stormwater runoff drain to? What water supply is affected?
9. Compare the amount of pervious vs. impervious area.
10. Are there any places where soil erosion is a problem?
11. Where are the stormwater drains meant to handle runoff from the school grounds
12. Are the openings of stormwater drains cleared? Or clogged with dirt and debris?
